Exhibition Express
The 2022 Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS) was one of Taiwan’s most anticipated annual textile industry exhibitions, attracting 40 international brands and over 370 participating companies. The event centered around five core themes: sustainability, functional applications, personal protection, smart textiles, and smart manufacturing.
In addition to showcasing the latest textile technologies and innovative products, TITAS also hosted a series of forums and seminars on circular textiles and sustainability, bringing together top experts from across the industry to exchange insights on future trends.
In response to the event’s themes, Kingone Design utilized VR digital technology to create an immersive Smart Manufacturing Display Zone, supporting the show’s evolution toward a smarter, greener, and more integrated virtual-physical exhibition model.

The 2022 TITAS was grandly held from October 12 to 14 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, attracting textile professionals from both Taiwan and abroad to participate in the event.
Digital technology was integrated into the exhibition booths, enhancing the overall visitor experience and unlocking new business opportunities.
Immersive Touch-Interactive Projection: Shaping the Future of Smart Textiles
Kingone Design collaborated with the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) to plan and design the "Immersive VR Smart Manufacturing Display Zone." By integrating professional projection mapping with interactive touch technology, the installation seamlessly blended digital interactivity with exhibition design.
Within a specially constructed darkroom, visitors could engage with six major stages of the textile production process through an immersive VR experience. This interactive approach not only allowed attendees to quickly understand the advantages of various textile products but also effectively directed interested buyers to the respective exhibitors for further discussions.
The booth also featured a service counter and a finished product display area. With a thoughtfully designed layout and smooth visitor flow, complemented by a futuristic main visual enhanced with LED light strips, the space perfectly echoed the theme of smart textiles. The innovative design broke away from traditional exhibition formats, delivering a tech-forward experience that successfully attracted high visitor traffic.

Kingone Design partnered with the Taiwan Textile Federation to launch the “Immersive VR Smart Manufacturing Display Zone,” drawing public attention with a tech-inspired visual centerpiece.

Inside the specially designed darkroom, visitors could enjoy bright, crystal-clear, high-resolution projections that effectively conveyed key information.

Attendees were able to engage with the touch projection using tap and rotate gestures, with English language support to facilitate expansion into overseas markets.

The finished product zone showcased company introduction videos alongside tangible samples of cutting-edge smart apparel.
New Trends in Green Digital Exhibitions Driving Corporate Innovation and Growth
Although the textile industry experienced a brief slowdown due to the pandemic, Taiwanese enterprises have remained committed to seeking innovative breakthroughs to revive the sector. The 2022 Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS) centered on integrating virtual and physical elements, connecting online and offline platforms while introducing multiple digital services.
Kingone Design’s “Immersive VR Smart Manufacturing Display Zone” stood out as a highlight of the exhibition’s digital technology offerings.
