BPIPO x King One Design
The 2023 BIO JAPAN Japan Biotechnology and Regenerative Medicine Exhibition took place from October 11th to October 13th. King One Design, under the leadership of the Bureau of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Industry Promotion (BPIPO) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, created a themed pavilion within the pavilion for the Taiwanese delegation at this exhibition. The primary visual theme featured a light and translucent gradient blue, and through its rounded, open, and lightweight 2.5D design, it highlighted Taiwan's overall image on the international stage. It also conveyed the essence of innovation and biotechnology, making the entire themed pavilion shine brightly in Tokyo's Yokohama.

To promote collaboration and friendship between Taiwan and Japan, a delegation of Taiwanese companies, led by the Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs, in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, visited Tokyo Yokohama to participate in Asia's largest biotechnology exhibition, BIO JAPAN, also known as the Japan Biotechnology and Regenerative Medicine Exhibition. This marks the 25th edition of BIO JAPAN, a longstanding and prestigious biotechnology showcase.
The 25th BIO JAPAN took place at the Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Center in Yokohama, Japan.
King One Design incorporated the advantages of island-type booths in the planning of the themed pavilion within the pavilion, allowing the unique branding of each exhibiting company to shine through in the overall atmosphere

This year, Taiwanese companies' participation in BIO JAPAN has been quite enthusiastic. King One Design has leveraged the layout of the themed pavilion within the pavilion to showcase the advantages of island-type booths.
The main visual concept for the themed pavilion is layered shades of blue, emphasizing the vibrant and promising future of Taiwan's biotechnology industry.
The round and dynamic island booth design can attract the attention of visitors on the exhibition floor and effectively convey the brand's strength.
Biotech National Pavilion, showcasing Taiwan's image abroad
BIO JAPAN is one of the essential gatherings for the global biotechnology and regenerative medicine community. The exhibiting team led by the Ministry of Economic Affairs includes Taiwan Bio and seven Taiwanese companie.These companies span across four major fields, including CDMO, regenerative medicine, new drug development, and medical equipment.
The impressive island-style booths immediately capture the attention of visitors. King One Design has transformed the flat into a three-dimensional space, presenting a 2.5D themed pavilion within the pavilion. The light and translucent gradient blue main visual concept, with its openness and translucency, highlights Taiwan's overall image at the Yokohama International Exhibition, radiating in this blue coastal exhibition on the Pacific.
This exhibition brings Taiwan's innovative achievements in the biopharmaceutical industry to the international stage, creating more opportunities for Taiwan-Japan collaboration in the field of regenerative medicine, and further strengthening Taiwan's connection with the global biotechnology and pharmaceutical community.
